Please join us for the 6th Annual Delaware River Watershed Forum at the Grand Hotel in Cape May, New Jersey! This year's Forum will include informative presentations, interactive discussions, site visits that highlight local conservation projects, as well as capacity-building workshops.

Forum Information

Tuesday, September 25th

The first day will explore landscape-scale initiatives focused on watershed-wide planning and will give participants the opportunity to learn about how their organizations can capitalize on existing work and partnerships. Hear from representatives from each watershed state on how they plan to partner with each other to advance regional impact. Participants will then have an opportunity to go out into the field and learn about some of the conservation work taking place in the region, as well as explore the beautiful nature sites of Cape May, New Jersey. Finally, we'll end the day with a dinner reception and music with an ocean view, during which participants can network, reconnect with colleagues, and enjoy the evening with one another.

Wednesday, September 26th

We'll begin the second day with informal breakfast roundtable discussions on hot topics in the basin, followed by two breakout sessions and a series of workshops. In the second breakout session, participants will discuss specific policy issues affecting the watershed, and what next steps they can take with the goal of taking ownership of the Watershed's future. In the third breakout session, we'll hear how organizations are amplifying their work by reaching new audiences and fostering community awareness and participation. Finally, participants will end the day by selecting a workshop that best aligns with their professional or organizational needs and interests.

Free organizational counseling sessions hosted by River Network are available throughout the event on a first-come, first-serve basis
