Join us for a gallery reception for Alicia Drakiotes. The exhibition   "A Painters Journey" at Hannah Grimes Center highlights works from the artists current collection which date 1986 to present. Works focus on local landmarks past and present, local scenery and East Coast explorations .  Please join Alicia on this walk in a"A Painters Life".

Alicia K. Geilenberg - Drakiotes of Marlborough, NH is a representational painter.  Predominantly self taught, her created works of art reflect both Colorist and Realist Traditions.  Many recent works honor "Vintage Americana" and focus on documenting the land and sights before time claims them.

Drakiotes has a preferred interest in oil and soft pastel mediums.  Her works incorporate a colorful palette representing motion and feeling.  In her painterly style vibrant colors and flexibility of application allow greater  expressiveness.  Drakiotes is an award winning artist whose works have been featured in both National and International Juried exhibitions. Her works are in private collections Internationally.
