2017 Excellence in Education Awards Luncheon 

Join us in recognizing the exceptional accomplishments of Ashtabula, Columbiana, Mahoning, and Trumbull County school district administrators, teachers, students, and community advocates at the seventh annual Excellence in Education Awards Luncheon. It will begin at 11:30 am on Tuesday, October 17, in the Joyce Brooks Conference Room of the Mahoning County Career & Technical Center, 7300 N Palmyra Road, Canfield.

Community members may join their school district superintendents, principals, and board members, along with multiple county Educational Service Center representatives, for this popular event. Tickets may be purchased online for $30 before Friday, October 13, by selecting the link below.

This year, Eastern Ohio Education Partnership will first recognize districts displaying excellence in critical data-driven, non-testing categories of the Ohio Report Card. These eight quantitative awards align with our four focus areas of early childhood education, third grade reading, eighth grade math, and postsecondary and career readiness.

We are also seeking nominations this year for six holistic, testimonial-based qualitative awards. These awards will highlight the amazing stories of students, teachers, administrators, and community advocates who are generating successful educational outcomes. The new award categories are Play and Learn, Reading Rocks, Math Matters, Love of Learning, Family Engagement, and Education Advocate.
