NYS Mandated Sexual Harassment Training
English Session
Every employer in New York State is required to provide employees with sexual harassment prevention training that meets or exceeds the following minimum standards. On Wednesday, December 5, 2018, Compass Workforce Solutions will be holding a NYS Mandated Sexual Harassment Training session at 1:00 PM. Registration opens at 12:30 PM and the training will last from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. The session costs $125.00 per person and can fit 25 people per training session.
Compass offers training in English & Spanish!
The training will include the following:
- Interactive activities: participation and/or an opportunity to ask questions
- Provide definitions and a detailed explanation of sexual harassment, unlawful discrimination and unlawful retaliation.
- Provide examples of conduct that constitutes unlawful sexual harassment.
- Federal and State Laws Information: that address sexual harassment and the resources available to victims of sexual harassment.
- Complaint Information: how to file a complaint and external resources available to victims when filing a complaint.
- Supervisor and Manager Information: the additional responsibilities of supervisors and managers in regard to preventing sexual harassment and responding to harassment complaints.
