Compassion.  Empathy.  Respect.

Join us for a fun learning experience.

We will start the afternoon off with the reading of Buddy Unchained by Daisy Nix and Joe Hyatt.  We will wrap up the afternoon by making t-shirt rope toys for the dogs at Pets Alive and surrounding area shelters waiting to be adopted.

All age groups are welcome, as one is never too young or too old to show compassion and respect to animals and people.

There is no charge for attending but attendees are encouraged to bring an item from the Pets Alive wish list such as: Milk-Bone Dog Treats, Pedigree Dry Dog Food or Contractor Bags.

We do ask that you register so we know how many will be attending.

The goal of the Pets Alive Kids Team Humane Education program is to encourage an understanding of the need for compassion, empathy and respect for animals, as well as for people and the environment, recognizing the interconnectedness of all living beings/things.

We will be utilizing various education methods including story reading, critical thinking and crafts, all of which will help our Pets Alive Kids Team learn to make responsible decisions and inspire them to make the world a better place.

Red Rover Reader’s recommended book.

Thank you to Petfinder Foundation for investing in Pets Alive and making this program possible through a grant award.
