We will start the afternoon off with the reading of A Home for Sally by Stenetta Anthony, a story of a young dog who considers herself to be unlovable and unadoptable because of her disability. We will wrap up the afternoon by making enrichment toys for the dogs up for adoption at Pets Alive.
All age groups are welcome, as one is never too young or too old to show compassion and respect to animals and people.
There is no charge for attending but attendees are encouraged to bring Pedigree canned or dry dog food or paper towels.
We do ask that you register so we know how many will be attending.
Thank you to Petfinder Foundation for investing in Pets Alive and making this program possible through a grant award.
