Please call (877) 814-7316 and ask for the 2012 Mid-Atlantic Conference on Worksite Wellness Room Block.  This toll free number is specific to MACWW attendees.  The Resort requires a major credit card will be required upon reserving individual rooms and should an attendee cancelling their reservation within seven (7) days of arrival will be charged one nights lodging at the group rate.  This is independent of any cancellation fees applied by the WCWV.  

 

West Virginia's premier conference for worksite wellness initiatives and programming is Registration-Ready!   The 26th Mid-Atlantic Conference on Worksite Wellness will be held on September 27-28, 2012 at the Resort at Glade Springs in Daniels, West Virginia.

For over 20 years, the Wellness Council of West Virginia has brought together the best speakers and the best resources for employer-based wellness initiatives.  We showcase the companies and organizations who exemplify the best  practices for worksite wellness programming  - and this year is no exception!

Our agenda is packed full of nationally recognized keynote speakers, leaders from across the state, 16 different breakout sessions PLUS new activities such as geocaching and yoga at the Resort at Glade Springs will make sure there is something for everyone.

Keynote speakers for the two day conference are:

  • Rose Gantner, Ed.D., author and wellness consultant who will share her insights about Engagement, Productivity & Resliance
  • Jerome A. Paulson, MD, director of the Mid-Atlantic Center for Children’s Health and the Environment, one of ten pediatric environmental health specialty units in the US, addresses Healthy Homes & Worksites
  • Kendall Simmons, a two-time Super Bowl Winner from the Pittsburgh Steelers talks about integrating diabetes into a successful life

Registration Fees are for the full two-day conference and DO NOT include hotel accomodations.  Registrations may not be divided among particpants.  Any cancellation received after July 1, 2012 will be subjected to a $75 administration fee.  No refunds will be processed by after September 1, 2012.

WV Prevention Resource Center (PrevNet.org) has approved 8.75 CEUs for the following disciplines:    
  • Addiction/Prevention
  • Counseling         
  • Nursing        
  • Social Work
