Please join us July 19th and 20th for Teepa's Knowledge Intensives Workshops 1 and 2.
Workshop 1: I Am Who I Was, But I'm Different! Caring for the Person Living with Dementia in the Here and Now By Building and Using a Quick Reference Visual Communication Tool that is Person Centered
Workshop 2: Creative Solutions to Challenging Situations: Let Go of the Drugs and Change Resistance with Support, Skill and Options that WORK!
Workshop 1 will run on July 19th. Workshop 2 will run on July 20th. Fee is $150 per registrant for either day or $300 for both days.
Continuing Education credit for the Teepa Knowledge Intensives program are in the process of being applied for through Commonwealth Educational Seminars (CES) for the following professions:
Nurses: As an American Psychological Association approved provider CES programs are accepted by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). Every state Board of Nursing accepts ANCC approved programs except California and Iowa, however CES is also an approved Continuing Education provider by the California Board of Registered Nursing, (Provider Number CEP15567) which is also accepted by the Iowa Board of Nursing.Once approved, nurses completing this program receive 6.0 CE hours of credit.
Social Workers: CES, provider #1117, is approved as a Provider for Social Work Continuing Education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. CES maintains responsibility for the program. ASWB Approval Period: 10/5/15 through 10/5/18. Social Workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval. Once approved, social Workers participating in this course will receive 6.0 clinical continuing education clock hours.
