Engage Their Senses! Multisensory Literacy Strategies for Struggling Students July 14th 2014

Target Audience:

Primary, Intermediate, Middle teachers, special education teachers K-8, speech and language pathologists, interventionists K-8

 

Description:

Forty percent of students in our classrooms are Auditory and Visual Learners.  So how do we take the Visual Task of Reading and employ the other senses?  This session will provide the participant with easy to implement multisensory strategies around the five essential components of reading.  Participants will leave with Props and strategies to use with all students.  This is a great introductory session for teachers who want to differentiate instruction using multisensory strategies.

Attendance Policy: If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
