Description: 

Do your students have difficulty with:  explaining what a fraction is, visualizing fractions, knowing when to use which fraction model?  If so, this workshop is for you!  Several strategies for developing fraction sense will be presented.  A focus for the workshop will be on various fraction models and hands-on ways to develop fraction sense with students.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
