Alternate K-PREP Aligned Science review; Physical Science 1 (Members-$0, Non members-$50) 

Speaker: Sally Miracle and Terry Rhodes

Target Audience: Any school staff working with students on Alternate K-PREP Aligned Science standards

Description: This session will take participants through the BSCS 5E Inquiry-Based Science Lesson process for teaching ANY science content.  We will model and practice the process using the lessons in the science resource guide and then have participants develop additional lessons based on the standards.  Participants will leave with an updated copy of the progression in the resource guide and ALL of the materials necessary for teaching the lessons in the progressions.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
