Description: Have you ever wondered how to build better relationships with your students in a diverse classroom? Tapping into the natural resources that students carry within them daily can help! This session will share research based strategies and activities to aid in building relationships and promote cognitive engagement to empower all students socially, emotionally and academically. Participants will be given time to discuss and plan how to implement strategies within their classroom or school.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.
Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session.
Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.
Attendance Policy:
If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.
Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
