Description: It seems like every day schools are dealing with more and more students with mental health issues. Often, teachers, administrators, and guidance counselors don’t feel like they are able to help. This session will provide a brief overview of common mental health issues in schools.  Quick strategies that anyone can use with students will be shared.  Participants will be given an opportunity to share tools and strategies they currently use.

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
