Target Audience:

Special Education Teachers, Occupational Therapists, Directors of Special Education

Handwriting without Tears will offer contact hours.

Target Grades - Kindergarten through 3rd grade, covering print and cursive writing.

Description: Children who master handwriting are better, more creative writers. The earlier we teach children to master handwriting, the more likely they are to succeed in school, and write with speed and ease in all subjects. Handwriting Without Tears uses fun, engaging, and developmentally appropriate and multi-sensoryinstructional methods to enable children to master handwriting as an automatic and comfortable skill. Be prepared for the new revised English/Language Arts standards with these resources and instructional strategies. Print and cursive writing will be reviewed during this training.

Please note that CKSEC accepts Purchase Orders and checks as forms of payment, for auditing purposes, we can not accept cash. 

Be sure to confirm with PO # prior to registration. 

GUESTS/UNREGISTERED POLICY

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
