7-23-19 Making the Most of Centers: how to productively occupy the “rest of the class”- No Fee for Member Districts, $35 Fee for Non Member Districts

Target Audience: All Special Education teachers and K-8 General Education Teachers who work with students with disabilities

6. Use student assessment data, analyze instructional practices and make necessary adjustments that improve student outcomes. 

7. Establish a consistent, organized, and respectful learning environment.

12. Systematically design instruction toward a specific learning goal.

13. Adapt curriculum tasks and materials for specific goals.

Description:  

This training will help participants solve the dilemma: What does the rest of my class do while teachers are working with small groups?  In this session, participants will learn how to plan for differentiation.  Specifically addressed will be:  Implementation of specially designed instruction,  setting up and managing centers across various classroom environments

At CKSEC, we love kids and families! Unfortunately, due to liability issues and professional decorum, children and other family members or friends are not permitted to attend our trainings.

Please get permission from CKEC prior to video or audio recording a portion or all of a CKEC session. 

Please dress in layers as it can be difficult to adjust the temperature.

Attendance Policy:

If you register to attend a session, but find you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration as early as possible. Space is limited and by canceling you will allow others to benefit from these highly qualified professional development opportunities. A fee could be assessed for no shows.

Districts will be notified of those who registered and did not attend or did not cancel prior to be session.
