Please join the LACM Foundation in celebrating Joe Porcaro with a Lifetime Achievement Award.
Joe Porcaro is a name known by most in the music industry, with a legacy that continues to grow with each day. We've heard Porcaro with heritage artists such as Gladys Knight, The Monkees, Pink Floyd, Natalie Cole, Don Ellis, Stan Getz, Madonna, Frank Sinatra, and the list goes on and on. From Jazz to Rock to Opera and Symphonic performances and sessions, Joe Porcaro is a legendary drummer and educator.
The night will feature performances by members of Toto, ensembles featuring Porcaro, and a silent auction featuring memorabilia and musical instruments donated by prominent recording artists. All proceeds will support the LACM Foundation, a non-profit organization supporting musicians in need who desire to pursue their studies at Los Angeles College of Music.
