Join us in Seattle at the Courtyard Seattle Downtown/Pioneer Square for:
Do you and your firm conduct investigations of exterior walls, roofing and waterproofing on residential and commerical buildings? If yes, are your investigation methods defensible and will they stand up under close scrutiny? Are you sure you and your team are using the right standard and applying the standard correctly on various types of residential and commercial building investigations (water intrusion analysis, litigation related investigation, course of construction or final inspections, etc.)?
The Building Envlope Institute invites you to join us in Seattle, WA on September 8-9, 2014 as we review and guide you through a number of industry accepted and defensible ASTM investigation protocols and standards. The BEI's Building Envelope Investigation seminar will walk you through the process of applying industry accepted standards, protocols and investigation methodology to the investigation of commercial and residential buildings. The core of this program revolves around ASTM documents that are specific to building envelope investigations (E2128, E2018, D7053, D5957, C1060 and C1153). Additional ASTM documents discussed in this program includes D2829, E907, D1079, E2266, & D7119. The presentations include numerous case studies of building envelope investigations.
Attendees will earn 14.0 AIA LU’s and/or 14.0 RCI CEU’s.
This program, which will be held at the Courtyard Seattle Downtown/Pioneer Square, is designed to advance the skills of architects, consultants, engineers, inspectors, facility managers and contractors in the art of conducting a forensic investigation on a residential and/or commercial building. This program will also provide a solid foundation to build on for those new to building envelope investigations.
