A family weekend away with games, exploring, stream dipping, and the chance to help us by getting involved with some conservation work. Accommodation and food included.
Spend Saturday Exploring the moors around Pinkery, pond dipping, Dragon (fly) hunting and looking for carnivorous plants. We'll work our way up to discover a hill top bronze age barrow with views across Exmoor before returning via pinkery pond and the optional tunnel cave. Spend the evening learning about the special landscape we are staying in along with story telling and a night walk.
After Breakfast on Sunday we'll join the Mires team for a day of dam building conservation and fun in the bogs before a picnic lunch and return home. There will be plenty of time for relaxing by a stream, or playing the the fields and even have a go on our low ropes course or archery range. Most activities are suitable for 6 years and upwards but younger children can be accommodated on the weekend.
