The Howard Avenue Arts Incubator kicks off the concert series "Music, Art and Friends in the Gallery" with a performance by local Jazz and R&B singer Mary Ann Redmond, who will be accompanied by another local favorite, guitarist Dan Hovey. Join us for an intimate evening of delights for the ears and eyes, as you take in the sounds of the fourteen-time Wammie Award winner, while also "Looking In, and Looking Through" the photographs of the 10 local artists featured in our first gallery exhibit.
A special reception will be held before the concert for patrons who wish to support the Howard Avenue Arts Incubator in helping local emerging artists and promoting the arts. Donors of $50 and above will be invited to this private event from 6:30 to 7:15 pm, where they will be hosted by Gary Rosenthal and the "Looking In, Looking Through" exhibit curator Jim Auerbach. Refreshments will be served at the reception.
The concert will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 pm in the Incubator Gallery. Tickets for the concert only are also available for a minimum contribution of $10. Reservations are required, and are limited to the first 60 registrants.
Register Now!The Howard Avenue Arts Incubator is a community service project of the Gary Rosenthal Collection. Currently, the Incubator is not a 501(c)3 organization. We intend to apply for that status in the near future, in order to become a more significant contributor to the metropolitan arts community. While your contribution is not tax-deductible, we guarantee that 100% of your generous gift will go to support the work of the Howard Avenue Arts Incubator in supporting artists and their work throughout the community.
