Crochet Rebooted - Individual Sessions

Sundays - 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Reboot your crochet experience at Yarn Garage. Whether you tried in the past or are ready to pick up this creative craft, this is the class for you. Learn to chain and single crochet and you are on your way!

This course will have you hooking your way to the hottest new crochet projects at Yarn Garage.

Covered in the class:

You are going to be making a scarf from your choice of 4 or 5 different yarns ranging from smooth worsted, a ribbon, and a fun furry yarn.

The stitches you will have learned when you have finished your scarf are how to chain, a single crochet, slip stitch, half double crochet, and then using a double crochet you will learn how to make the Shell and V stitches.

You will also learn how to count your stitches, change yarns and bind off.

Materials:

3 to 5 yarns (one skein each) in a medium weight sized fit hook used in class - We used:

1. a worsted wgt. flat yarn like malabrigo worsted or Ella Rae worsted
2. a ribbon yarn like Louisa Harding or Lucci
3. Novelty textured yarn like Karabella Tango or any funky furry lash yarn..

Size K crochet hook

Darning Needle for finishing.

ALL MATERIALS MUST BE APPROVED BY INSTRUCTOR for use in this class project. Consultations available prior to class with StevenBe staff. All yarn must be wound and ready for use when first session begins
