Come and experience/learn the CA NGSS Tool for Instructional Material Evaluation (TIME). This workshop is focused on training educators from districts that would go back to their school districts and help facilitate this process with their colleagues in order to be able to recommend materials to be piloted and ultimately recommended for purchase. The CA NGSS TIME will enable districts to probe the materials for their ability to address the three dimensions of NGSS and support students in the use of phenomenon-based, student-centered approaches leading to students mastering the performance expectations in the CA NGSS.
Cost: $325, all materials included plus continential breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Sign in begins at 8:00 am and the workshop will begin promptly at 8:30 am.
Cancellations: If not paying by credit card, your check or journal payment must be sent at least 10-days prior to the workshop or event. If the workshop or event is cancelled by SJCOE, participants will be notified and will obtain a full refund. No refunds or credit will be given to participants. Substitutes are welcome.
