     Dr. Samuel Hamilton-Poore
  is the pastor/Head of Staff at ...
  Collegiate Presbyterian Church in
  Ames, Iowa.  Previously he was at the
  San Francisco Theological Seminary
  where he served as Director of the
  Program in Christian Spirituality and
  Associate Professor of Christian
  Spirituality.  Prior to teaching, Sam also
  served Presbyterian, Lutheran, and
  UCC congregations in North Carolina,
  Missouri, and Iowa.  He is married to
  Terry, who is also a PCUSA minister,
and they have three children and one grandchild.  Sam enjoys all kinds of music and music-making (trombone, recorders, singing), but especially jazz.  He also enjoys gardening, reading, and being outdoors.  Sam is the author of Earth Gospel: A Guide to Prayer for God’s Creation (Upper Room Books 2009), and is currently researching/writing a book on Christian spirituality.
