There are times when oil selection seems an overwhelming task, or when something extra is needed for a client in order to achieve excellent rather than just OK results. Using essential oils as a form of energy medicine can add a powerful new dimension to a healing arts practice. This integrative approach is proving invaluable for complex conditions, especially when mental-emotional issues are blocking a positive treatment outcome. The simple addition of an appropriate essential oil to a treatment can create amazing and lasting shifts in treatment outcome. 

     Like acupoints, meridians and reflex zones, essential oils are electromagnetic by nature and are governed by the universal laws of energy flow. Whether used by inhalation or directly onto points and body zones, they deeply modulate neuroendocrine functions through neuropeptide activation. Oils can thereby trigger profound energetic changes in the individual, which can be monitored by often immediate changes in the pulse, breathing and complexion. They do this without creating an additional burden to the digestive system.

     This unique information-packed seminar will present the essential practical information needed to start using oils in practice right away based on integrated energetic principles. WHO IS PETER?

Peter Holmes is a British-trained Medical Herbalist and practitioner of Oriental Medi-cine with over 30 years’ experience of using botanical remedies and essential oils in clinical practice. His formal training was enriched  with specialty studies with Henri Verdier (essential oils), Christopher Hedley (herbal medicine) and Elisabeth Rochat (classical Chinese medicine). Peter has explored both the physiological and psychological aspects of using essential oils in depth, pioneering their use in energetic medicine in particular. He continues to develop specific applications for essential oils in the clinical context of acupuncture and, together with Tiffany Pollard, co-developed Aroma Acupoint TherapyTM. Peter is author of several acclaimed textbooks on herbal and essential oil medicine, including Clinical Aromatherapy: Using Essential Oils for Healing Body and Soul; The Energetics of Western Herbs: A Materia Medica Integrating Western and Chinese Herbal Therapeutics; and Jade Remedies: A Chinese Herbal Reference for the West.
