Are you a Lawn Fawn-ista? Have you ever wondered where the magic happens? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to shop out of their warehouse?
If so, we have a unique opportunity for you!!
Creative Escape Events is excited to announce their first event and who better to partner with than Lawn Fawn! The name may be new, but the faces aren't - Laurie, Jamie, Sandy & Nat have a fun filled adventure planned for you!
Your adventure starts Friday evening with a welcome reception where you will have the opportunity to mingle with other Lawn Fawn-istas, enjoy a tasty treat or two, and, should you choose, swap your Lawn Fawn creations with others.
Then wake up Saturday morning to enjoy a Lawn Fawn filled day. You will enjoy 2 different card classes taught by Julie Kelly and Rebecca Kaufmann. In each class, you will create unique fun & lively cards using Lawn Fawn’s latest cute stamps and versatile dies. The third activity of the day will take you by luxury coach to Lawn Fawn warehouse where you will be greeted by Kelly Marie Alvarez, owner and operator of Lawn Fawn. She will take you on a tour of the warehouse where you will get an opportunity to see where all the magic happens. Next, you will get to participate in a Make-n-Take. Finally, you will have about an hour to shop out of their warehouse! Finish off your day with a catered dinner back at the hotel in their gorgeous garden where you can spend the evening reliving your adventures with friends, both new and old.

Friday Evening Swap Details
As part of the Friday evening social, we will be having a voluntary handmade card swap/exchange. The idea is to have fun and meet new crafty friends, so, it is up to you whether or not you participate. There will be 3 different categories:
- Interactive
- Shaker
- Basic (i.e. not interactive or shaker)
The rules are simple:
- Cards must be handmade featuring your favorite Lawn Fawn products.
- There is no minimum or maximum number of cards to make – the number you bring is the number you will swap and bring home with you.
Deposit Policies -
- A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot for the event.
- The balance due must be paid no later than 45 days prior to the event start date.
- Grace Period: registrants are allowed a 10-day grace period to pay the balance due. However, a $25 late fee will be assessed.
- An email will be sent approximately 60 days prior to the event with instructions for making the final payment.
What do I need to bring with me?
- Scissors (make sure to only include in checked luggage)
- Tape Runner
- 1/8” Scor-Tape (or similar)
- Liquid Adhesive
- Foam Tape on a Roll
- Pencil
- Score Tool
- Your favorite markers, such as Copics, for coloring
Don’t worry about forgetting anything – we will have an on-site store stocked with limited amounts of the above items, including Copic Markers.
Note regarding markers: You will receive an update email prior to the event with details on the colors used in the class samples. There will be a limited number of Copics available to share during class. Since these classes will not focus on the shading properties of Copic Markers, any markers will work.
