Do you just love Tonic & Nuvo? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to shop out of their warehouse?

If so, we have a unique opportunity for you!!

About the Event

Creative Escape Events is excited to announce their next event partnering with Tonic Studios and we have a fun filled adventure planned for you!

Your adventure starts Friday evening at the hotel in Modesto, Calfiornia and continues all day Saturday. Your adventure at the hotel will include a Welcome Reception, 5 hours of classes featuring all kinds of Tonic and Nuvo products, a trip by luxury coach from the hotel to the Tonic & Nuvo warehouse. and will finish with a catered dinner.

Cost: only $269!

Welcome Reception

Your adventure kicks off Friday evening with a welcome reception at the hotel where you will have the opportunity to mingle with others who love Tonic & Nuvo after picking up your registration materials and swag bag. While enjoying a tasty treat or two, you can participate in a Make-n-Take round robin where you will be introduced to many Tonic and Nuvo products. Finally, the evening will include (if you wish) the opportunity to swap your Tonic & Nuvo card or tag creations with others.

Not quite ready to call it a night? Just a 5 minute walk from the hotel, the downtown Modesto area offers live music on Friday nights!

About the Classes

Wake up Saturday morning to enjoy a Tonic & Nuvo filled day at the hotel.  You will enjoy 2 different classes taught by Julie Kelly and Marie Nicole Heiderschiet. Both classes will be holiday themed - we have partnered with KaiserCraft to provide patterned paper and embelishments. In Julie's class, you will create unique fun & lively cards using Tonic & Nuvo's latest products. In Marie's class, you will create a wonderful mini-book once again using Tonic & Nuvo products..

Bus Trip to Warehouse

The third activity of the day will take you by luxury coach from the hotel to the Tonic & Nuvo warehouse where you will be greeted by US Distributor, Gary Torres, and his daughter Samantha. They will take you on a tour of the warehouse where you will get an opportunity to see all their goodies in one place. While at the warehouse, there will be more product demonstrations. Finally, you will have nearly 2 hours to shop out of their warehouse! 

On-Site Shopping

Friday evening and most of Saturday, we will have an on-site store at the hotel to enhance your shopping experience. We will have limited supplies of all the items on the supply list (see below) as well as other fun and unique items papercrafters are sure to love!

Saturday Night Dinner

Finish off your day with a catered dinner back at the hotel where you can spend the evening reliving your adventures with friends, both new and old. There might even be a prize or two!

We have reserved a block of rooms at the DoubleTree by Hilton Modesto for only $159.00/night.

Cancellation Policy

We are sorry, but we are unable to accept cancellations for this event. However, if you cannot attend, you have the option of finding someone to take your place. You must report any changes to us as soon as possible so we can keep our guest list up-to-date. Thank you for your consideration.

Deposit Policies 

  • A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your spot for the event.
  • The balance due must be paid no later than 45 days prior to the event start date.
  • Grace Period: registrants are allowed a 10-day grace period to pay the balance due. However, a $25 late fee will be assessed.
  • An email will be sent approximately 60 days prior to the event with instructions for making the final payment.

Friday Evening Swap Details

How would you like to participate in a Round Robin Card Swap?  What is that? you ask! A great way to inspire and be inspired by others and maybe win a prize!

How to participate:

  • Create 24 of the same full-size cards using your favorite Tonic & Nuvo products
  • Bring the 24 cards and a bag or basket with you to the event
  • The Swap will take place during the Welcome Reception on Friday evening
  • Everyone that is participating will turn in a sample of their card for display and get ready to share
  • We will make a circle of participants and place our collection basket on the floor in front of us.  
  • Each participant will walk around the circle placing a copy of their card in the baskets as we go.  
  • Once done we will go back to our basket and take home a group of 23 different cards for inspiration! 

Sample cards will be posted for everyone to see and to vote for their favorites!  Group favorite will win a prize! 

No limit to the number that can participate - everyone will take home 23 new cards!

What do I need to bring with me?

We will provide you with a detailed supply list closer to the event. This list will most likely include:

  • Scissors (make sure to only include in checked luggage)
  • Tape Runner
  • Liquid Adhesive
  • Foam Tape on a Roll
  • Pencil
  • Score Tool

Don’t worry about forgetting anything – we will have an on-site store stocked with limited amounts of the above items.
