Money Management Skills to Achieve Homeownership in Montgomery County, MD 

Capital Area Asset Builders (CAAB) and the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS® (GCAAR), a local REALTOR® association serving Montgomery County, MD and the District of Columbia, have launched a strategic partnership to offer a series of educational opportunities to help underprivileged individuals and families get on the path toward homeownership.  

The three-year partnership features a series of real-time, online workshops in both the District of Columbia and in Montgomery County. Each workshop offers one, hour-long class daily during a five-day period on the following topics:

·      Lesson 1 (November 14th 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM): Understanding Your Financial Relationship

·      Lesson 2 (November 15th 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM): The Art of Budgeting

·      Lesson 3 (November 16th 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM): Take Charge of Your Credit!

·      Lesson 4 (November 17th 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM): Understanding Your Financial Rights

·      Lesson 5 (November 18th 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM): Pay Yourself First
