2012 Workers' Compensation Legislative Day

Monday March 26th and Tuesday March 27th, 2012
Sacramento, CA

2012 is shaping up to be a critical year for California's workers' compensation system, as policymakers look to control increasing costs, improve the delivery of benefits and prevent the system from sliding into another job-killing crisis.

Don't let the debate happen without a strong voice from California employers! Join us for the Workers' Compensation Legislative Day on March 26-27 in Sacramento.

The Brown Administration is looking for a new round of broad reform that curbs abuses and eliminates unnecessary costs for employers, while increasing direct benefits for workers who sustain permanent disabilities. In the meantime, California's system has renewed its position as one of the most expensive in the nation. As one of the primary stakeholders in California's system, employers must educate policymakers about the problems and advocate for common-sense solutions.

The Workers' Compensation Legislative Day is your opportunity to partner with employers from throughout California and be heard. As part of this two-day event, you will receive at no cost:

  • An intensive briefing on workers' compensation issues, trends and legislation that will help your business plan and prepare
  • Access to decision makers to discuss key issues facing California businesses
  • Presentations from key influencers in Sacramento
  • An opportunity to collaborate with employers from around California
  • Training on effective advocacy from leading employer organizations
  • The chance to BE HEARD on a critical issue that impacts your company and your workers
