Secondary Survivors Bi-Monthly Support Group 

This ongoing drop-in group is to provide support for partners and friends that support survivors of sexual assault. The intent is to create a more cohesive unit around primary survivors while providing healing for family, friends, etc. The group meets the first Tuesday of each month.

PROGRAM FACILITATOR :

I’m Cathy Schneider and I want to provide this group as a way to help secondary survivors assist their loved ones and cope with their own reactions. I’ve worked with many kinds of survivors through advocacy and therapy. I like to bring warmth, humor, and respect into everything I do! I’m a clinical social worker with a social justice focus. Currently I work in crisis mental health and
volunteer with MESA to feed my passion for working.
