Yoga on Kauai: Stepping Into Your Power

Overview: Focus on activating and balancing the 7 main chakras, or energy centers of the body.

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning 'wheel' or 'revolving disc.' The chakras serve as transformers and act as regulators to receive, assimilate, and distribute energy to the spinal nerve plexuses. This energy is then transferred to the blood circulation and organs of the physical body.

Objectives: As Kuaui has its own heart-opening affect on natives and visitors alike, one of our focuses will be how to activate our own heart chakras using yoga poses, meditation, sounds, and colors to support this goal.

Results: You will learn which yoga poses, or asanas, support, strengthen, and activate your energy centers. You will leave feeling more balanced and open to the challenges in your life!
