Community Building Workshop October 27-29, 2020

Please join us for a Community Building Workshop based on the groundbreaking work of M. Scott Peck, MD, bestselling author of The Road Less Traveled

THIS WORKSHOP IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.

People interested in personal and professional development, and in particular those interested in promoting civility, creating a welcoming community, and building genuine collaborations within Knoxville and East Tennessee communities, are encouraged to attend.

 This workshop can help you:

  • Listen in a new way and be more fully present to self and others
  • Overcome superficiality and obstacles to authentic communication
  • Bridge differences with respect and form genuine collaborations
  • Experience “unusual safety” and “extraordinary respect” with fellow participants
  • Overcome isolation or loneliness and build real connections with others

This workshop can help business, non-profit and community leaders to:

  • Build social capital and genuine relationships within diverse groups
  • Enhance leadership, team building, and employee engagement programs
  • Strengthen neighborhoods and restore civility
  • Transform equity and inclusion programs
  • Improve client outcomes by motivating resistant clients and reducing the impact of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs)

COST: To help spread the Community Building experience, workshops are FREE for Tennessee residents (a value of $595) thanks to the generosity of donors.

Please note: To encourage inclusivity, participants are strongly encouraged to share lunch with fellow participants each day of the workshop. All lunches and coffee/tea/snacks are provided for the duration of the workshop for $30 totalWhen you register, you’ll see the meal fee.

Scholarships are available to cover the meal fee. For more information, send an email to admin@communitybuilding.com with “Scholarships Oct 27-29” in the subject line. You'll need the Scholarship code to finish registering for the Workshop.
