Interact for Health

James E. Schwab is president, chief executive officer and a board member of Interact for Health (formerly The Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati) and InterAct for Change. Formerly the Cincinnati market president of U.S. Bank, Mr. Schwab continues to serve on its Cincinnati advisory board. He is the former chairman of the board of TriHealth and Bethesda Inc. and is currently a board member of the Health Collaborative and the Health Policy Institute of Ohio. He also serves as trustee for numerous civic and charitable organizations. He is the current chairman of the board of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and serves as trustee of the University of Cincinnati Foundation, the University Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation and the Research & Education Committee of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center, and is a former trustee of the Kenton County Airport Board. He has held leadership positions with Cincinnati firms including Xtek, Great American Holding Corporation, an affiliate of American Financial Corporation, General Cable Corporation, Penn Central Corporation, Corporex Companies and The Baldwin-United Corporation. He received his A.B. degree in Economics from University of Cincinnati and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School.

He is married to Vivian (45 years), and they have a son Andy (wife, Catarina, Dylan and Felicity) and a daughter Katie Frink (husband, Alex, Tommy and Charlie).
