Cell Phone Technology in Criminal Investigations
Fee: $325

Everyone has heard about the prevalence of cell phones in criminal investigations. The
technology is currently being used across the nation to identify and convict criminals.

This course demonstrates the basic concepts and methods for using cellular records to
prosecute criminals. Participants will learn how to conduct proficient and effective investigations
using available databases and cellular usage records. 

Upon Completion:
Participants will be able to:
Use practical techniques to enhance criminal investigations
Acquire and understand cellular phone and tower records
Obtain, use, and present information from background research and cellular data records
Use cellular data to recognize patterns within targeted investigations
Identify software that can assist with using cellular records
Present cellular records in a courtroom setting

This course demonstrates the basic concepts and methods for using cellular records to prosecute
criminals. Participants will learn how to conduct proficient and effective investigations using available databases and cellular usage records.

We recommend that participants bring a PC-based laptop, although having one is not mandatory.
