This free event is the final session of a 7-week course, Microfinance in Action. Participants in the course will present their finding and solutions to Five Talents, a panel of experts and an open public audience. The evening is hosted by course co-leaders Dr Phyllis SantaMaria, Founder Director of Microfinance without Borders and a recognised authority in microfinance who was the UK Coordinator for 2005 UN Year of Microcredit; and Gabriel Flores, Development Director of Microfinance without Borders and a People and Team Development Expert with 10 years' senior experience at Accenture.
Microfinance without Borders would like to thank Reed Smith, the leading international law firm, who are hosting both the Microfinance in Action Course in their City offices as part of their long-standing commitment to international development through microfinance and social impact investment.
Our participants are professionals from the financial services, legal, business, academic, social enterprise and not-for-profit sectors. Undergraduate and post-graduate students also get involved, knowing they too can develop careers alongside professionals in the fast-growing field of microfinance and international development.
