About Tess Imobersteg:

Hailing from God's Country in the Northwoods of Wisconsin, Tess completed her undergraduate degree in Art and Theater Education at the UW-Madison. Economies being uncertain, she landed outside of her chosen field of study professionally and eventually moved to Switzerland and worked in IT there for a decade. Then returned with her family to Wisconsin. She has taken her interest in the Arts with her wherever she went, developing her skills in several media. She has taught classes in English and German.
The creative classes she has taught have included pottery, photography, wool spinning and yarn design, knitting, quilting, digital photo manipulation and photos on fabric. Most recently she discovered the meditational art process, Zentangle, and has become an avid and enthusiastic teacher, traveling to Rhode Island to receive the teacher's certification from the originators of Zentangle, Maria Thomas and Rick Roberts, who still personally teach and certify all Certified Zentangle Teachers. She has taught Zentangle to large and small groups of all ages and backgrounds in the Southern Wisconsin area, and as a Corporate Team Building activity. Some of her classes will be featured at the Zentangle Art Expo at the Monona Terrace in July and the Wisconsin Quilt Expo at the Alliant Energy Center in September.
