WEDA 2022-23 Membership Registration

WEDA membership is for a single organization and includes benefits for one contact person. Additional organization employees can be added to the membership for an additional $95.

Membership Classes and Dues Rates

Economic Development Entities: Organizations with economic development agendas that support economic development in their community and across the state. This membership class supports economic development lobbying in addition to general membership.  Each membership includes one contact person who receives WEDA benefits and one association vote on any voting matter.

Primary member base rate based on community population: 

Population served-more than 15,000: $685

Population served - 5000 – 15,000: $575

Population served - 1000- 5000: $465

Population served of fewer than 1000: $200

Local Governments and Communities:  Local governments and community entities that would like to be part of WEDA and our efforts to advance economic and community development statewide.  Each membership includes one contact person who receives WEDA benefits and one association vote on any voting matter.  Additional contacts and votes can be added for $95 to a base membership.

Businesses: Many businesses are active members of their community and economic development efforts and want to support the efforts statewide.  This membership gives the opportunity to have a voice in community and economic development at the state level.  Each membership includes one contact person who receives WEDA benefits and one association vote on any voting matter.  Additional contacts and votes can be added for $95 to a base membership.

51+: $685

21-50: $575

6 – 20: $465

5 or less: $200

Financial Institutions: Many finanical institutions and lenders want to support economic development efforts statewide. 

This membership gives the opportunity to have a voice in the community and support economic development at the state level. Each membership includes one contact person who receives WEDA benefits and one association vote on any voting matter. Additional contacts and votes can be added for $95 to a base membership.

Primary member base rate: $1000

State and Federal Agencies and Institutions: State agencies or educational institutions who are, by statute, not allowed to lobby.  This rate does not include the lobbying function of the association.  Each membership includes one contact person and one association vote on any voting matter.  Additional contacts and votes can be added for $95 to a base membership. 

Primary member base rate: $375

Elected Officials: Individual elected officials -- state, county or municipal.      

Primary member base rate:  $100                                                         

Individuals: Individual members have no organizational affiliation and include lobbying efforts. The membership listing does not include the individual’s place of business.
