Annual District 26-M5 Convention 2018 

The District Convention for Missouri 26-M5 is fast approaching. Mark your calendars and make your reservations soon. This year's convention will be held November 2 and 3, 2018 at the Best Western State Fair in Sedalia, Missouri.  Hospitality will be held on Friday night, the 2nd, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.  Clubs are being asked to bring a snack to munch on and share.  Lion Pat Mills is in charge of the hospitality room and if you have any questions please call her at 816-400-7220.  We will have live music by Beam and Eads.

The Convention will start with a Necrology service at 9:00 a.m. on the 3rd followed by our first business session, Lions Forum, and lunch with special guest Doug Booker speaking to us on Leadership.  At lunch we will have our raffle and clubs are asked to bring a raffle item.  Contact District Governor, Pat Scott, if you have any questions about this.  The 2nd business session with voting and another Lions Forum will make up the afternoon.  

Speakers at the Forums will include Phil and Phyllis Krebs on Leader Dogs, IPDG Greg Gilliam on membership and 1VDG from M2 Lion George Winkeler.

The Banquet will be held in the evening with social hour at 6:00 p.m. and banquet at 7:00 p.m. with guest speaker International Director, A. Geoffrey Wade.
