The Florida Association of Environmental Professionals (FAEP) is an affiliate of the National Association of Environmental Professionals (NAEP).  The Florida state chapter was founded in 1987 and has eight local chapters throughout the state. 

Florida Association of Environmental Professionals is a multidisciplinary professional association of Professionals from a variety of disciplines including: biologists, scientists, geologists, environmental engineers, environmental attorneys, wetland scientists, botanists, planners, and many other disciplines that perform environmental work.

The conference will be held at the recently renovated Doubletree Hotel at Universal Studios.  The Conference area will consist of three (3) classroom type meeting rooms and a conference hall area for luncheons and Featured speakers.

The hall will also house up to 36 of our exhibitors and their booths and will be used for all networking events and breaks during the conference.  The schedule is still under construction, but plan on a full day of tracts on Thursday and a half day on Friday followed by optional participation on field trips on Friday.

NASA Space Center Bus Tour

The conference will be offering a separate daylong bus tour that includes the NASA Space Center as well as a number of mitigation, restoration, and preservation sites within and near the Florida spaceport. The tour will be on the Friday of the conference on September 21, 2018 and have anadditional cost of $50/registrant.  Space is limited to the first 50 conference registrants that choose the 'Field Trip' option.  (Available as optional add-on at registration Page) As this is an all-day tour, we are including a box lunch. The group will board the bus at the conference hotel at 8 AM and will return at 4 PM. 

Econlockhatchee River, Kayak Trip
Paddle eight miles through the cypress forest of the Little-Big Econ State Forest, along the Econlockhatchee River. The Econlockhatchee River is an Outstanding Florida Water, along which we hope to see bald eagles, red shoulder ha
wks, wading birds, river otters, and alligators.

Sea World Select VIP Tour
Get a behind the scenes tour of one of Orlando's favorite attractions.  The tour includes a trip through the Sea World Rescue Center.  A discussion and meet and greet with an actual penguin as we learn about penguin adaptations, distribution and husbandry.  Finally, you will participate in a discussion of Shark diversity, care and husbandry, including a backstage touch of a small shark.
