5Rhythms Tribal Gathering

Uniqueness & Unity
In the 5Rhythms® we connect to something bigger than we are. We dance to be free, we dance toGathering 2011 be healed, we dance to celebrate our aliveness. Powered by a tribal collective of dancers from around the continent, we move through wave upon wave, opening and exploring the textures of our dynamic humanity. Weaving together all of these unique dances, exercises, and ritual moments, we ride the rhythms into a field of unity. Six diverse teachers offer their depth and magic in this totemic weekend that calls together the greater tribe and evokes unity consciousness.

The theme for this year's Tribal Gathering is "Uniqueness & Unity". What is the relationship between them? How does your individual uniqueness nurture unity of the whole? How do you simultaneously connect to self and the group heart? Each teacher will offer their own special teaching and movement medicine in the dance of this profound paradox.
