Summer Employment Academy 2017 

A 4-week summer program where High School students with Down syndrome have on-site career experiences along with in-class soft skills employment training. Eligibility - any student with Down syndrome age 16 years+ who is still eligible for school services. Class is Monday to Thursday from July 10 to August 3 2017 from 9am to 1pm at the DSAGR office. Students will be in-class two days per week and then on a job site two days per week. The student will rotate through 4 different job sites for a well-rounded career exploration experience. While at the job site, they will have the opportunity to practice the soft skills they are learning in class. Follow this link for more information. 

The class is limited to 8 students and is first come, first served. The cost of the Academy is $200 for the entire four weeks ($50/week).

Important! Students must commit to all 4 weeks. If you cannot commit but are interested, let us know and we will place you on a waitling list which will open up after the deadline of Friday April 14, 2017.
