NLI is pleased to invite you to join our Community Book Club. Book #3 is Just Medicine: A Cure for Racial Inequality in American Healthcare by Dayna Bowen Matthew.  Dozens of community members have contributed to ongoing dialogue on social justice in previous groups. Now, you can join in for our Book #3 discussions on October 14th. Guests will participate in weekly conversations led by NLI facilitator GiGi Elder. We anticipate these discussions will run Oct 14 - Nov 11.

Health disparities have remained stubbornly entrenched in the American health care system, and in Just Medicine, Dayna Bowen Matthew finds that they principally arise from unconscious racial and ethnic biases held by physicians, institutional providers, and their patients.
