3rd Annual Haiti Funders Conference: Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in Haiti

We would be honored if you would join us for the 3rd Annual Haiti Funders Conference, Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals in Haiti. This 2-day conference will take place on Wednesday, November 9th and Thursday, November 10th at the SUNY Global Conference Center in New York, located at 116 W 55th Street in Midtown.

As you may be aware, on January 1st 2016, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) officially came into force.  Over the next fifteen years, with these new Goals that universally apply to all, countries will mobilize efforts to end all forms of poverty, fight inequalities and tackle climate change, while ensuring that no one is left behind.

The goal of this forum hosted by the Haiti Development Institute, FOKAL, and State University of New York (SUNY) is to learn from the experience of funders in Haiti, hear from local experts and administrators and to discuss and highlight effective practices, as well as systemic challenges and opportunities in supporting innovative approaches and initiatives throughout the country. To meet the largest development challenges across sector, a collaborative approach is necessary to ensure sustainable and equitable growth and development in Haiti. Funders will come away with new ideas for strategic approaches, grantees and funder collaborations.
