Target Audience: Installers and Service Technicians

Hours:3 days from 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Please make travel arrangements accordingly to avoid missing class time).

Attire Requirements: For safety reasons, please do not wear shorts or open-toed shoes. 

Computer Requirements: This course requires a laptop (Windows-based 7, 8, or 10, iPads are not compatible) and installation of the following software: Diamond System Builder, Initial Settings Tool, Maintenance Tool Software, and Maintenance Tool Drivers.

Course Descriptions:

 (Installation Essentials Day 1) CITY MULTI Installation Essentials : This course provides an in-depth discussion of the techniques associated with properly installing commercial CITY MULTI systems. Instruction focuses on the best practices, limitations, and manufacturer’s requirements as they pertain to wiring, addressing refrigerant piping, and equipment installation. This course is recommended for Installers, Service Technicians.

(Startup and Service Essentials Day 2) CITY MULTI Startup Essentials: This course provides hands-on experience building systems using Diamond System Builder TM design software. Participants learn Mitsubishi Electric’s warranty process and the steps to register products once they have been installed. The concepts of integration and centralized control are discussed as well as the proper steps for system start-up. This course is recommended for Service Technicians and Installers. Laptop computers are required. 

(Startup and Service Essentials Day 3) CITY MULTI Service Essentials: This course provides an in-depth functional examination of system operation including both the electrical and refrigerant circuits. In addition, the resources, and techniques to diagnose and troubleshoot CITY MULTI systems are discussed. Practical hands-on exercises to identify faults and repair select units reinforce the concepts covered. This course is recommended for Service Technicians and Installers.  Laptop computers are required for this course.
