113th Annual Convention

Voting Credential Registration

In accordance with ARTICLE XXII, Section 6 of the Illinois PTA bylaws, each local PTA/PTSA unit shall be entitled to be represented at an annual or special convention by its president or president-elect and by other delegates or accredited alternates.

You can find the number of delegates your Local Unit qualified for here.

Part of the responsibility of the voting delegates is to participate in the business of the Illinois PTA—this will include not only election of officers and members of the Board Development and Nominating Committee, but also, adoption of a budget, a scholarship program and budget, as well as taking action on the Resolutions and implementation of legislative activities.

If we do not receive an electronic registration of your elected delegates or a delegate registration form which was sent via United States Postal Servicde, credentials for your local unit (up to the number allotted based on the state bylaws) will be distributed to your members as they register on a first come first serve basis.

You will be able to register your delegates electronically until April 10, 2015.

If you are pre-registering your delegates or if you are allowing your units credentials be distributed on a first come first serve basis to your members, all delegates must present a valid membership card when registering on site to receive a voting card.    Please instruct your members that voting cards will not be distributed to anyone lacking a valid membership card to your local unit.
