FASTER Saves Lives OPOTA+ Challenge

The Ohio Police Officer Training Academy sets the law enforcement handgun standard for all police officers in the state. This 25 round qualification course of fire is required to be completed by every law enforcement officer at least once a year. State law requires our police to score 20 out of 25 to qualify (80%).

BUT . . . That is not good enough for our schools! The FASTER Saves Lives Level 1 class takes this same 25 round course of fire, add 3 additional 'shooting while moving' (a skill which may come in handy in a school environment). But this still is not enough. Instead of accepting an 80% pass/fail level (20 or 25) we require 93% (26 of 28) to qualify.

There are 8 strings of fire from close retention to 50 feet, reloads, one handed, off hand, failure drill and more. Will you qualify at police officer level (80%), FASTER Level (93%) or PERFECT (100%)!
