Many funders require evidence from organizations showing how their programs succeeded. In challenging economic times, money for evaluation needs to be spent carefully for best results.
Program managers usually rely on feedback collected through surveys or focus groups, often when a program has concluded. Applying creative and cost-effective approaches through a project's lifespan can help organizations collect different kinds of evaluation data, both qualitatively and quantitatively.
Organizations wanting to meet their clients’ needs better can engage more responsively and meaningfully with them through creative evaluation approaches such as building, mapping, journaling and photography.
In times of economic uncertainty, evaluation methods that are cost effective, responsive and creative can achieve a number of goals. This session will present participants with a number of approaches which do not require any tools or extra costs to implement.

Participants will practice selected approaches to reinforce learning.

Learning objectives:
1.      Provide creative approaches to collect information on the effectiveness of your programs
2.      Engage with your clients in a more responsive manner to meet their needs
3.      Demonstrate a number of techniques for evaluation
4.      Learn how to adapt and integrate these tools into your own work environments. How about this?
