About the Course
The Biosafety Microbiological and Biomedical Laboratory (6th Edition, June 2020) and the NIH Guidelines for Research Involving Recombinant and Synthetic Nucleic Acid Molecules (updated April 2019) are the foundations of this course.
Our objective is to provide you the fundamentals of anticipating, recognizing, evaluating, and controlling biological hazards in the workplace. This training will go over the essential skills expected of a Biological Safety Officer. While the concepts addressed in this course are vital to any biolgocal safety program, it is intended for those who are new or experienced in the field.
