Jim Krivda

Mane
Jim Krivda, Vice President and Senior Perfumer, Mane, was born and raised near Philadelphia. He began his fragrance career over 30 years ago, studying perfumery under French Master Perfumer Elie Roger at Firmenich. He previously also worked at Fragrance Resources and Givaudan before moving to Mane in 2008. Throughout his career Krivda has worked on a broad spectrum of products from air care to personal care to fine fragrance. He focuses on fine fragrance at Mane’s New York Creative Studio. Krivda served as president of the American Society of Perfumers in 2001 and is currently Secretary of the ASP and the SIPC.
Sherri Sebastian

Sherri Sebastian

Senior Perfumer, Fragrance West
Sherri Sebastian, senior perfumer at Fragrance West, has 24 years of experience in the flavor and fragrance industry. As a perfumer in New York City and Los Angeles, she’s developed fragrances for the personal care, fine fragrance, air care, natural, and niche markets.

She holds a degree in Food Science which led to an apprenticeship with a sixth generation wine maker in Germany. It was there she became interested in aromatic composition, working first as a flavor chemist at Brooklyn flavor house before joining the fragrance industry.

Rafael Trujillo

Research fellow & Senior Perfumer
The Procter & Gamble Co. (P&G)
Rafael Trujillo is a research fellow and senior perfumer with The Procter & Gamble Co. (P&G) and has 29 years of experience in the industry. He has developed perfumes and perfume technologies for P&G for all categories and regions and has been a change agent in the industry, working closely with key perfume houses in developing new materials for P&G fragrances.

Wine for Normal People
After graduating from Wesleyan University, Elizabeth Schneider realized her heart was more in her hobby than her high-tech job. She took a course to learn to taste and appreciate wine, earned her MBA from the University of North Carolina, and embarked on a new career. Schneider is certified as a Sommelier (Court of Master Sommeliers), a Specialist of Wine (Society of Wine Educators) and has worked for the largest winery in the world, launching several successful brands and co-authoring an acclaimed training program for restaurant servers. She hosts an international, award-winning podcast, "Wine for Normal People,” and currently is writing Wine For Normal People, a book exploring wine fundamentals.
