Experiencing Active Learning from the Student Prospective

Many faculty have never experienced a classroom environment that utilizes active learning. So many of us were taught strictly through lectures and never exposed to innovative learning strategies, which leads to apprehension related to implementation of these techniques. In this session, participants will experience an active learning classroom from the student perspective. The session will demonstrate active learning strategies and provide helpful resources to aid in implementation.
