How to Forecast Revenue & Growth for Your Business

This is a FREE Workshop sponsored by DECD - Pre-registration is required - Space is limited

Prerequisite: Your Business Your Money workshop or equivalent knowledge

Writing a business plan requires financial projections. Learn how to prepare detailed financial projections, including start up costs, and projected cash flow analysis. The Portland SCORE Financial Projection Template will fulfill the requirements for commercial lenders and potential investors and will be provided.

You will be asked to download the Template and bring your laptop with you so you can begin work on your own financial projections during the workshop.

There is a critical difference between businesses that succeed and those that fail. And it's not a matter of luck. Planning and careful financial analysis are the keys to success. The financial plan is the road map for success or failure. It helps you make those critical business decisions that can lead to success and profits. The Cash Flow Projection included in the Template, kept current for changing business conditions, tells you when your business will become profitable and helps you get there.

This workshop includes hands-on practical examples using a computer projection model developed by the Chapter. As a result of this workshop, you will better understand the need for a plan, how to project cash flow and how to complete your cash flow analysis. Material covered in this workshop pertains to start up companies or business expansion. Bring your laptop.

Prerequisite: Your Business Your Money workshop or equivalent knowledge.
