October 7, 2015 Your Business—Your Money: Financial Literacy

This FREE Workshop is for in-business clients only. Pre-registration is required. Space is limited.

This workshop will show you how to use break even analysis, income statements, and cash flow management to plan, understand and improve your business.   When you are growing your  business, managing by the numbers (accounting) will play a critical role in your success.    Among the topics we will cover:

  • Break Even Analysis – A powerful and easy to use tool that allows you to create a financial model of your business to explore the impacts of pricing, revenue, fixed and variable costs on profitability.
  • Estimating Revenue - Whether you are a starting or established business your estimate of revenues is one of the most critical forecasts you will make.  Its accuracy impacts your ability to survive and to prosper.  We will explore techniques that will improve your ability to forecast.
  •  Income Statements – The income statement is the most powerful tool for monitoring the performance of your business and identifying problems and areas for improvement.
  • Balance Sheets – Your balance sheet has a direct impact on your ability to borrow.   We’ll explore the balance sheet; why bankers love them and why you need to love them too.
  • Cash Flow Management – You can be profitable and not have cash and you can have cash but not be profitable. Learn how to avoid these situations and what to do when you find yourself in a cash flow crisis.
